Kristy A. Brownlee, 45, died November 16, 2017.
Kristy Brownlee was born at John Gaston Hospital on September 15, 1972 to Samuel Brownlee and Carolyn Jones who preceded her in her death. She gave her life to Christ at a very early age. She attended Geeter and Fairley and thrived in sports. She went on to pursue cosmetology and became a cosmetology instructor at Tennessee Academy of Cosmetology. She was an entrepreneur and motivational speaker. She changed many lives with her career and was an awesome mother that gave her all to her son, Rodrick Phillips, and daughters, Courtney and Kristina Boddie. She will be deeply missed. She leaves to cherish her memory her six grandchildren; Payton, Aidyn, Sonny, Cardiaye, Major and Maximillion; sisters, Marquitta Brownlee, and Donna Brownlee; brothers, Derrick Brownlee and Brandon Brownlee; two god-sisters, Whitney Wilson, and Anita Grove; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
