Obituary for Alvin Hentrel
Alvin D. Hentrel, passed away August 19, 2018 at 69 years of age after a battle with prostate cancer. Al will be remembered by brothers, Percy and Ike; son, Alvin II. He was predeceased by parents, Rev. P. Gonya and Myrtle Lee Hentrel; and siblings, Gloriadean H. Porter and Allan D. Hentrel. He will also be remembered by numerous family members as well as friends and caring loved ones. He maintained his sense of humor throughout his battle and faced the cancer head-on. He will be missed. Visitation Friday, August 31, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. Service at 12:00 noon on Saturday, September, 1, 2018 at Serenity Funeral Home, 1638 Sycamore View Road.
