Arrione Shanelle Pinkney was born September 30, 1998, to Susan R. Pinkney and Antonio Gwynn in Memphis, Tennessee.
Arrione had recently graduated from Hamilton High School with honors. She received a full scholarship from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, which she planned to attend in the fall of 2017. In the meantime, Arrione worked as a Barista at Starbucks located in Dallas, Texas, where she was loved by many of her co-workers and management. She also attended Calvary Church in Dallas, Texas during her stay there. She had a passion for music, dancing, make-up and social time with her friends.
On January 23, 2017, God summoned Arrione to His heavenly home. She leaves behind her mother, Susan Roberta Pinkney; her father, Antonio Gwynn; her sisters and brothers, Tania Pinkney, with whom she was very close, Antonio Gwynn II, Antwon Gwynn, Tyler Gwynn, Ashanti Gwynn, Amanta Gwynn, Elizabeth Gwynn, Catalin Gwynn, Michael Gwynn and Antonio Gwynn III; her grandfather and grandmother, Thomas E. Pinkney Sr. and Susie Pinkney; her grandmother, Gloria Jones; her uncles, Thomas E. Pinkney Jr. (Dawn), Michael E. Pinkney (Erin), David E. Pinkney (Mia) and Marvin Loggins. Also left to cherish her memory are her cousins David E. Pinkney Jr., Zjonathon Pinkney, Tristan Pinkney, Michael McAtee, Nichelle McAtee, Trenton Richardson, Jordan Pinkney, KeShun Pinkney and Michaela Pinkney, with whom she shared a special bond. She also spoke of the wonderful friendships she made. The loyal friends who will also mourn her passing include: Aliyah Johnson and De’ Monica Sumlin.
