Obituary for Betty A. Sellers
Betty A. Sellers, age 80, died December 16, 2020.
Betty Ann Brownlee Sellers went home to the Lord on Friday, December 16, 2020 at home after a brief illness. The graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 23 at 1PM at Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 3406 Tracy Road, Munford, Tennessee. Rev. James Burrow officiating.
Betty Ann, born in Memphis, November 12, 1940 to Robert and Helen Glover Brownlee. She was cared for by her beloved grandmother, Mama Sarah Brownlee (Sam).
Betty Ann worked as a beautician for many years throughout the Memphis area. She had a love for sewing, painting, and organizing. She was an avid reader, and loved studying her Bible. She had a great love for animals and all her “babies” were special. She will be remembered by her quick wit and humor, her love for the Lord, and her often saying “O Well Anyway”.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lewis Sellers; parents, Robert & Helen Glover; grandparents, Sam & Sarah Brownlee; and siblings, Linda Brownlee Brock, Robert “Bobby” Brownlee.
She is survived by her children, Keith Sellers (Toni) of Olive Branch, MS, and Angela Humphreys (Prentis) of Germantown, TN, and Pam Thompson of Memphis, TN, whom she loved as a daughter; many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great friends. The family is extremely grateful to her caregivers and friends, Randy Harrison, Ms. Betty, and Pansy Brown, RN for their compassionate care.
