Obituary for Carolyn Louise Turner
Carolyn Louise Turner, age 60, died May 22, 2021.
Carolyn Louise Turner was born on January 10, 1961 to
Rosa Turner and the late Frank Warford.
She grew up in the Orange Mound Community and attended
Dunbar Elementary School and graduated from White Station
High School. She graduated from Southwest Community College
with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
Carolyn worked many years in the Childcare profession. She retired From Lebonheur Children’s Medical Center where she served many children as an Inclusion Facilitator in Lebonheur’ s Early Intervention and Development Program.
Carolyn enjoyed watching movies and spending time with her grandchildren.
Carolyn was a believer in Jesus Christ and was water baptized to affirm her belief as a Christian. Carolyn was welcomed to Heaven in the early morning hours of May 22, 2021 at Methodist University Hospital.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Rosa Foster, two sons, Napoleon Henderson (Ebony), Brandon Turner (Deja),two sisters, Beverly Cox (Gregory), Gloria Williams, one brother, Calvin Foster of Falls Church, Virginia, five grandchildren, Tori, Marico, Milan, Ryan and Jaryah, three nephews, Gregory Jr., Anthonie, Kevin, one great niece, Mia, and many other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Lynn Turner.
