Catherine Patterson, died March 26, 2018.
On May 29, 1936, the sun rose, and Catherine Patterson was born to the late Willie and Virginia Patterson in Eads, TN. She was one of twelve children: [ Preceding her in death were 3 brothers and 5 sisters: Jasper Patterson, Freddie B. Patterson, Cleveland Patterson, Viola Betts, Willie Mae Nichols, Bernice Chambers, Dorothy Graham, and Gladys Reed.} She is survived by 2 sisters and 1 brother, all off Memphis,TN: Annie Mae Myles, Beverly Johnson and George Patterson.
Ms. Catherine Patterson, affectionately known as “Cat”, was blessed with 5 children, all of Memphis: [Preceding her in death were 1 daughter and 1 son- Darlene Denise Patterson-Lewis and Cornelius Ray Patterson] She leaves to cherish her memory 3 daughters: Diana Delore Patterson, Metrissa Henley (Antonio) and Teresa Lynn Catron (Kim Dewayne) . Her grandchildren truly enjoyed spending time with their grandmother: LaKeisha Riley, Juli Lewis, Kiara DeYionne Rainey, Brandon Jamal Hill, Ebony Patterson, Marion Dwayne Rainey Jr. and Kimyionna Latrice Catron. She had the blessing of seeing the birth of her first great granddaughter Kerrington Imani Rainey. Her last days on earth were filled with joy as she saw the smiling faces of her sisters, nieces and nephews.
