Chester Newsome Jr. born on March 1, 1948 to the late Mary Hazel Logan and father Chester Newsome Sr. of Memphis, TN. He was very active until his health began to fail.
Throughout his life, Chester developed friendships and touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity. Chester was a man with a heart of Gold.
Chester leaves two sisters Betty Lou Rozelle, Barbara Ann Smith and three brothers Melvin Logan, Andy Logan and Jerry Logan. Also he leaves two beautiful daughters and a host of nieces and nephews.

Up in heaven, high above I know today you’re with us all and sending all your love. You’ll never be forgotten Chester we’ll just close our eyes and see your smiling face and feel your love close to us. We love you Brother.
