Mr. Claude Shields was born in Niagara Falls, New York on December 26, 1944, to the late Nemiah Johnson and Johnnie Mae Williams. He and his fraternal twin sister (Claudia Turner) are the babies of four children (late Robert Johnson and late Ruth Johnson) born to their parents. Mr. Claude Shields was then adopted by his late uncle Archie Shields who resided in Akron, Ohio. Mr. Claude Shields joined the United States Army in 1962. He served for eight years. After that endeavor, he was then employed with GoodYear Tire Company in Akron, Ohio where he worked for 35 dedicated years. During his first tenard, Mr. Claude Shields fathered a son. Mr. Claude Shields, being proud of his role in fatherhood, took great honor of naming all of his children with names that began with the letter "A"; Anthony, Audrey, Annette, Alberta, and Amelia. During his second tenard, he was wed to Betty Graves in 1984. From this union, six step children were inducted into his life. Although he retired from GoodYear Tire Company, Mr.Claude Shields never stopped working. Just to list a few of his latter occupations, he was a Commercial Vehicle Operator, had his own handyman service, he drove the local school bus, and at the time of his passing, he was a security guard. He was even the owner of a roofing company.

Your twin sister Claudia Turner
