Obituary for Clifford Tipton
Clifford Tipton was born February 10, 1958 to the late Vera Chalmers Tipton and Isaiah Tipton Sr. He departed this life May 27, 2018 after complications from heart disease and diabetes. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Wilson Chapel AME Church. He attended Whitehaven High School.
Clifford enjoyed music and always made sure it was playing wherever he was. He beamed with happiness when telling his family about his time spent on the beach in California, just listening to his music and watching the waves. One can truly understand how that scene could soothe his gentle soul. He will always be remembered by his sisters and brothers for his desire to want things done right now and his way. Although he was the oldest of the siblings, he was all of our baby. For those that loved him knew of his gentle and loving spirit.
Clifford leaves to mourn his passing one brother, Mr. Isaiah Tipton Jr of Austin, TX; three sisters, Carol (Maurice) Tipton- Lee, Anita Tipton and Teresa Tipton – Tyms all of Memphis, TN; grandmother, Willie Mae Briley of Memphis , TN. He also leaves nine aunts , five uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
