Obituary for Hafford Chapman
Mr. Hafford Chapman was born March 8, 1930 in Pope, Mis-sissippi to the late Jesse Chapman and Flora Greene. He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and served as an Usher and later as a Deacon under the leadership at Inde-pendence Baptist Church of the late Rev. Sylvester Piques of Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Chapman later served the United State Army and worked as a sanitation worker for the City of Memphis and proudly march with his colleagues during the protest I AM A MAN strike of 1968. Mr. Chapman later met his love, friend, and partner of crime Idellar Chapman later married March 12, 1999. He also be-lieves in helping anyone that he could enjoys taking trips and seeing different venues. Mr. Chapman is survived by his wife Idellar and along his children, grandchildren, friends, and family.
