Obituaries
He confessed his hope in Christ at an early age. He was married to the late Ruthie Mae Bernard on January 26, 1965, four children were born to this union, three sons, Michael Lydell, Avery Ross and Jeffrey Lynn Braden; and one daughter, Pamela Evette Braden.
Perhaps he will be best remembered for his giving nature that touched the lives of many people. He enjoyed sports. He was a big fan of the University of Memphis Tigers and he also enjoyed watching golf on television. His occupation was in roofing until his rest. He did not consider himself as retired. Life brought about a change and he dedicated his later years to spoiling and rearing his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The life of Issac ended on November 16, 2016 after his health failed at Methodist North Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruthie; a son, Michael; a great grandchild, Marcus Dayshun Miller; his parents; a sister; and two brothers.
He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Avery and Jeffrey "Len" Braden; a daughter, Pamela (Jermayne) Brown; three grandchildren, Marcella Miller, Jermayne Brown Jr. & Jayla Brown; three great-grandchildren, Cortez, Cordarius & Cortrell Miller; three brothers, John (Joyce), Oliver “Liv” (Ernestine) of Memphis and Charles "Tut" (Janice) who resides in California; and a host of nieces, nephews; in-laws, friends; and a special friend, Loretta Cole.
Visitation from 12:00 noon, with service following at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26th at Serenity Funeral Home, 1638 Sycamore View Rd.
Inurnment at Serenity Columbarium and Memorial Garden - Rotunda, 1622 Sycamore View Rd., Memphis, TN 38134.
