Obituary for Jerold Conley
Mr. Jerold Conley was born June 20, 1943 to the late James B. Conley and late Louise Thomas Conley-McMickens. Jerold united at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, where he gave his life to God. Jerold reunited at Ark Of The Covenant Christian Church until he went home with his Father in Heaven on March 6, 2020.
Jerold (Shine) was known as a man that loved his son with all his heart. He would say, “J.J. what are you doing? Help me with J.J. y’all!” Jerold also enjoyed company and being around family and friends, and most of all his best friend and brother, Pete.
Jerold leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Makaleen J.J. Conley; four brothers, Reginald L. Conley, James B. Conley, Jr., Marsden (Pete) McMickens and Terrence T. McMickens; two sisters, Regina Brassel (Don) and Lisl Profit (Roderick); four nieces, two nephews, and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends to carry on his memory.
