Lanedra Buckner, age 43, died March 3, 2019.
Lanedra D. Leaper-Buckner, age 43, passed away unworriedly on Sunday, March 3, 2019, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.
She was born April 18, 1975, in Memphis, TN to Arnold M and Carlene Leaper.. She was a graduate of White Station High School, where he made lifelong relationships with many teachers and students. She attended MTSU before transferring to Lemoyne College. She worked as a Customer Services Rep with Conduit Global until her illness. Lanedra truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends, and family, snacking, and spending time with her nephews and nieces. Lanedra had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.
She is survived by her parents, Arnold and Carlene Leaper; 4 sons, Darius Buckner, Kobe Buckner, Tyler and Landon Baker, 2 brothers, Arnold M. Leaper, Jr, Travis C. Leaper; one sister, Catorchia Leaper and her nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lanedra was preceded in death by one daughter, Hanna Carlene.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 3, at Mt. Moriah East Baptist Church, 1248 Haynes St. Memphis, TN, and the family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, March 8 at the Serenity funeral home – 1638 Sycamore View Road, Memphis, TN 38134
