Larry Dunlap, 72, died April 8, 2019.
Larry Franklin Dunlap was born November 11, 1946 in Detroit, MI. He joined the United States Air Force on November 5, 1965. While in the military, he received many medals, ribbons, and letters of accommodations for his performance. He served on four different continents and retired as a master sergeant, E-7-, on March 1, 1986. He married his loving and devoted wife, Jocelyn A. Hastings, June 18, 1976. To this union six children were born: Tera, Christopher, Kandice (Victor), Kyle (Adriane), Michael (Dashana), Pina (Victor). He leaves to mourn his passing, 27 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Awaiting in Heaven to receive him with open arms are his mother, Zinker Dunlap, and father, Leon Pierce, and grandson, Jonathan Xavier Hatcher. He was a member of New Bellevue Ministries, pastored by Toney V. Hastings, Sr. He served until his health failed him. Larry answered the call from the Lord April 8, 2019.
