LaTasha Stokes-Kahill was born October 6, 1972 in Memphis, Tennessee to William Eugene Stokes (deceased) and Bettie Love. She dedicated her life to Christ at a young age and attended First Baptist Church (2835 Broad Avenue in Memphis, TN). In her youth, LaTasha attended Northside High School and later graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming from the University of Phoenix. She held a professional career as an IT coordinator at Swift Transportation for over 10 years. She met her loving husband Rokenya Kahill as high school sweethearts in 1987 and they were united in holy matrimony for 13 years. LaTasha enjoyed supporting her children at all of their sporting events and musical endeavors. She took delight in gardening, painting, music, home decorating, and anything that would bring her loved ones together.
LaTasha was a beautiful daughter to William Eugene Stokes (deceased) and Bettie Love and Silvester and Mona Owen’s (parents in-law). A loving granddaughter to Marie Sandifer. She was a dedicated wife and mother to husband, Rokenya Kahill and children, Klarissa Kahill, Raven Stokes, Rokenya Kahill Jr., Rashad Kahill, and Rotaveon Kahill. She was a loyal sister to Larry Stokes, Versie Stokes, Janice Hollowell, Perry Stokes, Linda Lockhart, Ralph Love (Denise Love), Bettie Jean Love-Jones (Nesbitt Jones), Robert Love, Tracie Stokes-Cooper (Kenny Cooper), Bob Stokes (deceased), Barbara Ann Stokes (deceased), and David Stokes (deceased).
