Leon Ware, Jr., 28 years old of Memphis, TN, departed this life on December 11, 2018.
Leon was born in Clarksdale, MS on August 10, 1990 to Debra and Lee Rowsey. He was raised in Shelby, MS until age 12, moving to Memphis, TN in 2002 with his parents and sisters. He attended Memphis City Schools, graduating from Craigmont High School in Memphis, TN.
Leon was a wonderful person who loved his family, enjoyed life and making others happy. In his spare time, he loved fishing, playing basketball, and watching football.
Leon leaves to cherish his memories: two children; Kelsey Elise Ware and Lauren Marie Means of Milwaukee, WI; his parents, Debra Rowsey and Lee Rowsey of Memphis, TN; and three sisters, Camissa Hicks of Memphis, TN, Glortesha (Dewayne) Lee of Memphis, TN and Debreka Ware of Memphis, TN. He is survived by a maternal grandmother, Algora Bishop, three nephews, three nieces, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by a nephew, Jayden Ryan; paternal grandmother, Eva Mae Rowsey; paternal grandfather, James Ware; and maternal grandfather, Nathaniel Hicks.
