Marilyn Diane Lendon, 64, January 31, 2020.
Ms. Marilyn Diane Lendon was born in Greenville, MS to Eloise Tarver on September 11, 1955. She was the first born of seven children. Diane accepted Christ at an early age.
Diane departed this life on January 31, 2020 at Methodist North Hospital. She was preceded in death by her life partner, William "Bud" Hanner.
Diane was the life of every party. She was kind hearted and would give her last to even a stranger. Diane spoke her mind and it would stick with you, she came with the truth. She would read her bible every morning. She was very quick to make many friends. Diane was a loving mother and grandmother and so much more. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved cooking and having sleepover with her grandchildren.
Diane was preceded in death by her brother, Reginald Young.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Gloria Walker (Carlos) and Kimberley Lendon (Bobby); two sons, Michael Hanner (Toya) and Walter Lendon; three sisters, Ora Walton, Kate Young and Gloria Young; two brothers, Nathaniel Young and Herny Young; seven grandsons, Andre, Rodney, Nichole, Walter, Damon, Anthony and Tyler; five granddaughters, Kesanile, Tirraney, Princess, Aniya and Iyona; one great-grandchild, RJ; two lifelong friends, Barry Hill and Felica Wade and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and godchildren to carry on her memory.
