Obituary for Michael Drew Dillard
Michael Drew Dillard was born September 21st, 1993. He gained his wings on November 30th, 2020. He was preceded in death by Grandmother Barbara Ann Dillard, Brother Patrick Steven Mansell. Survived by his fiancé, Cortney Case; Children, Ashytn Marks, Bennett Cash Dillard, Unborn son, Baker Drew Chance Dillard; Grandfather, Fred Dillard; Mother, Kimberly Dillard; Father, Jimmy Creekmore; and Sister, Shara Allison.
Drew loved his family & friends foremost before anything else.. His passions were not limited to just his family, friends & children, but he was one of the most skilled carpenters in Memphis. He took pride in his work and loved making something beautiful for others to enjoy. In his younger years he enjoyed skateboarding with friends and hoped to pass this on to his sons as well as working with their hands. Working with their hands to make something beautiful and unforgettable.
Drew genuinely enjoyed everything about life. He most definitely lived it to the absolute fullest. He woke every morning with a smile ,and a purpose. A purpose to stay true to his family, to his work, and to bring joy to those around him. To put others happiness before his own says a lot about someone’s character. Even on his worst days, Drew was brutally honest. To himself and to others. He strived daily to be a better person then the day before, not only for his family, but for himself as well. He wanted to make his family proud, someone his boys could look up to. And he never gave up, never gave up trying to become that man for them. He may have been troubled here on earth, but not with our Lord. There is no pain and suffering where he went to wait for us.
Not a day will go by that his memory will not be forgotten. He lived life to big for anyone to forget. To know him was to love him. To meet him was to have a everlasting impression. His sons will never grow up not knowing their father. For he lives on through them. May Drew Rest In Peace knowing that he was so very loved here on earth.
