Obituaries

Born in Moscow, Tennessee, Odessa was the daughter of Jerry and Renner Jackson of Moscow, Tennessee. She graduated from W.P. Ware High School, Somerville, Tennessee and was employed at Brother’s International Corporation for over 17 years until she became disabled.
Mrs. Jones was a member of First Baptist Church Chelsea, Memphis, under the leadership of Reverend Justin Holloway. She enjoyed attending church with her late husband and in later years she loved participating in various gaming activities.
Preceding her in death was one daughter, Wendy Davis and one surviving son, Julius Murphy (Myshoi), six grandchildren: Trey Murphy, (Memphis, TN) Derrin Davis, (Nashville, TN) Dejuan Davis,(Seoul Korea) Kortney Sugars (Racine, WI), Julius Murphy, Jr. and Soroya Murphy.
She also leaves to grieve surviving siblings: Lucreathia Stennis (Carl), Willie C. Jackson (Bobby), Cora L. Watson, Annie Jackson (Dean), Reola Payne (Bishop Payne), Mary Wilkerson, Elvin Cochran, Earlene Jackson, Ella Manson (Tony), and Rev, Elvis Jackson (Sandra) as well as the late Mamie L Wilkerson, Rev. Charles Jackson, and Rev. William Jackson in addition to a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends
