Obituary for Patty Marie Sanders
Patty Marie Sanders was born August 15, 1940, in Greenwood, Mississippi to Nathan and Pattie Sanders. She was the sixth of ten children. Her brothers were: Melvin Amerson (deceased), Nathan Sanders (Ernestine), Charles William Sanders (Lee Alma), James Shields and Roy Shields. She also had four sisters. They were: Sue Willie Britton (deceased), Annie Bell Rivers (deceased), Sammie Lee Cage and Freddie Shields.
Patty leaves behind three sons. Sheilton Sanders, Skylon Sanders and Stefan Sanders (Rosalind). In addition, she leaves two grandchildren Sentrez Sanders and Shunique Sanders. She is mourned by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who affectionately know her as Lil Sister. A short time after graduating from Lester High School she became a long time employee of Cleo Wrap Corporation. She retired from Cleo Wrap in the late 1990’s. Patty transitioned on March 29, 2016. She will be missed by all who loved her.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Serenity Funeral Home.
