Obituaries
Velma Louise Wiseman was born on April 29, 1952 to Elton and Eula Mae Hullett who preceded her in death. Velma Louise Wiseman accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Pastor JT Thomas at Shiloh Baptist Church. She was a servant of God where she served faithfully at Shiloh, LaGoshen and lastly at Mt. Zion. She was involved in several ministries including Evangelist, Choir Director, Sunday School Teacher, and Head of Missionary. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Dudley Wiseman in 1970. To this union, their sons were born. She was employed at Dana Corporation for 16 years where she led the packaging department. She was preceded in death by her brother Welton Hullett. Louise departed this life at Methodist Germantown June 15, 2019 with her family surrounding her. Her memory will be cherished by four sons, Michael (Yerva) Hullett, James (Tanya) Wiseman, Derrin Wiseman, and Terrance Wiseman; ten grandchildren, Randle (Krystal), Jenisha, Michael, Olivia, James, Elijah, Taniya, Daniel, Rhyan, and David; three great-grandchildren, Lorenzo, Kassidy and Bella; five brothers, LT King of Collierville, TN, Larry (Leticia) Hullett of California, Kenny Jones of Memphis, TN, Donnell Hullett of Byhalia, MS, and Mark (Teresa) Hullett of Olive Branch, MS; five sisters, Merline Sanders of Lexington, TN, Dorothy (Eugene) Johnson, Linda (Larry) Butler, Bonnie (James) Butler, all of Byhalia, MS, and Etta Hullett of Olive Branch, MS; two aunts Laura Ann Gooden and Anna Lucy Phillips, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. And a special friend, Gwendolyn Yancey.
