On October 15, 1960, “Ricky” made his grand entrance into this world. He was greeted by his loving mother and father, Florence Jefferson the late James Lee Jefferson. He grew up in a close-knit sibling crew of 5. Ricky had a magnetic personality. He touched the hearts and lives of many people.
He will be dearly missed by his sister Sherry Lowe (Phillip) Underwood, his brothers Daryl “Wayne”Jefferson, Terry Jefferson and James “BayBay” Jefferson. He will
His spirit will be carried in the hearts of his three sons Derrick Chew-Jefferson, Daemien (Tamara) Jefferson and Ricardo Jefferson,his two granddaughters, Nataysia Diamond Jefferson, Malia Marie Jefferson, along with his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Ricky is a proud graduate of Douglass High School Class of 78. Also a firm believer and supporter of America’s Team, those Dallas Cowboys.
There were times in his life, where Ricky struggled to keep his head above water, as life does us all, but we can all rest in the fact that he lived his last days at peace with God. He boldly shared with friends and family what Christ had done in his heart not very long before transitioning.
